How to buy staffing services from Konnex

Most public buyers can start with a written quote. This page covers small purchases, cooperative contract subcontracting and formal solicitations, plus the documents we send.

3 ways to buy

Choose the route your purchasing policy allows. If you are unsure, ask your purchasing office which threshold applies, or ask us.

1

Small purchase or informal quote

If the expected cost sits under your micro-purchase or informal quote threshold, you can request a written quote from Konnex and issue a PO. Many policies ask for 2 or 3 quotes at this level. We reply in your format.

For purchases paid with federal award funds, 2 CFR 200 sets the micro-purchase threshold at $15,000 and the simplified acquisition threshold at $350,000 from Oct 1, 2025. Your own policy may be lower.

2

Subcontract under a cooperative contract

Many agencies buy staffing through cooperative contracts that another public entity has already competed. Konnex does not hold its own cooperative contract today. Where a contract holder is allowed to use subcontractors, we can support placements under their award, subject to that contract's terms.

3

Formal RFQ or RFP

Above your informal threshold, you will run a formal solicitation. Add Konnex to your bidders list for recruitment, contract staffing and executive search. We respond with pricing, approach and the forms you require.
