3 ways to buy

Choose the route your purchasing policy allows. Unsure which applies? Ask your purchasing office, or ask us.

1

Small purchase or informal quote

If the project sits under your micro-purchase or informal quote threshold, request a written quote and issue a PO. Many policies ask for 2 or 3 quotes at this level. We reply in your format, and we can split a project into fixed-price phases.

For purchases paid with federal award funds, 2 CFR 200 sets the micro-purchase threshold at $15,000 and the simplified acquisition threshold at $350,000, from Oct 1, 2025.

2

Subcontract under your prime

Primes holding state IT contracts, such as Texas DIR deliverables-based IT, or cooperative contracts, can add Konnex as a delivery partner for front-end, QA, accessibility and data work. We work under NDA and your flow-down terms.

3

Formal RFQ or RFP

Above your informal threshold, you will run a formal solicitation. Add Konnex to your bidders list for software development, web, accessibility, QA and IT staff augmentation.
