IT services and infrastructure for public agencies
Cloud setup, data and reporting, documentation, testing and support capacity for state and local agencies, K-12 districts and public colleges.
Last updated October 18, 2026
Practical IT help, clearly scoped
Agency IT teams carry more systems with fewer people. State CIOs rank modernization, digital services, accessibility and data among their top priorities for 2026 (NASCIO).
Konnex adds capacity where it is safe and useful: environments in US regions, documentation, testing, reporting and support work your rules allow. We scope each task against your data rules before work starts.
IT services we provide
Work that keeps systems documented, tested and running.
Cloud setup in US regions
Hosting, environments and backups on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, in US regions.
Data and reporting
Dashboards and reports on public or de-identified data.
Documentation and training
System documentation, user guides and training material.
Testing and release support
Regression testing and release checklists for agency and vendor systems.
Infrastructure planning
Inventories, migration plans and IT assessments from your documentation.
Support capacity
Tier 1 support and knowledge base work, where your rules allow offshore staff.
What we do not take on
We would rather pass than put your agency at risk. Today we do not offer:
- Production admin access to agency systems from outside the US
- Work touching criminal justice information (CJIS)
- Work touching federal tax information (IRS Publication 1075)
- Cybersecurity operations for agency networks
- Work under contracts that require all services in the US, unless staffed onshore
For schools and colleges
District and campus IT teams are small and stretched. We help with documentation, website and portal work, reporting, testing and project capacity, so your staff can focus on classrooms and students.
Student records stay under your control. We work from de-identified or synthetic data.
Common questions
For IT directors, CIO offices and procurement. Still unsure? Ask us directly.
Do you provide managed IT services for government?
We provide scoped IT services: cloud setup in US regions, documentation, testing, reporting and support capacity. We do not take production admin access from outside the US.
Can you help K-12 districts?
Yes, with websites, documentation, reporting and project capacity. Student records stay under district control.
Where is agency data stored?
In US-hosted environments, in your accounts or US-region accounts set up for your project.
Do you hold StateRAMP, SOC 2 or ISO 27001?
No. We do not hold those today, and we say so plainly. See our delivery and compliance page for the controls we use.
Can you work with our existing vendor?
Yes. We often add testing, documentation or front-end capacity alongside an existing vendor.
